Take Home Hint: Whenever you find yourself deriding someone else (and that's fine with due cause), ask yourself, "on this subject are they able to
do something I choose not to do?"
Am I whining about that actress who checks in at 98 pounds and saying that she is "anorexic" and she looks unhealthy because it's true (it's not, she'll live much longer than you or me...)or because I weigh 259 pounds and I look like Godzilla standing next to her?
If you get irritated by people coming to your country, there is
only one justification for that. If they are coming here and
trying to make it a more dangerous, less healthy, less stable
place to be.
The idiots that were planning the JFK airport terrorist plot this week... Send them to somewhere that the sun don't shine...
PAUSE
The United States is following the typical "from rags to riches to rags" empire down the tubes story.
Start out with nothing.
Have great willpower.
Build a thriving nation with entrepreneurial spirit.
Become complacent.
Quit working so hard at greatness.
Become lazy.
Go Broke.
Watch your country go into the toilet back to nothing.
Happens every time. Every country in history.
Do you know that out of the 20 odd countries in the world that
track standardized scoring on education, the United States is
LAST. JORDAN comes in higher than the USA. Three
decades ago, we were FIRST. #1.
But that's OK!
Being #1 isn't EVERYTHING, right? I mean if you are #1,
you are a NARCISSIST. Narcissist (try spelling that without
spell check…) is a word we think applies to people who have self-
confidence, success, income or are good-looking.
Remember the book "Looking Out for #1" by Robert Ringer?
I love this guy because he was 100% honest and 100% right.
People who didn't read this superb book, ripped on it big time.
(Along with his other book, "Winning Through Intimidation," which may have been the best personal development book I've ever read.)
Why?
Because it talks about responsibility and importance of the self and all that works great in the first half of the empire...but not when the finger hits the handle to flush.
Whose job is it, anyway?
