The Secret Law of Attraction:
The Next Deception

"Kevin, I know what you're going to say. The biggest problem you have with 'The Secret' is that it doesn't tell people to take action and without action nothing can happen. But you do like what's there, right?"

Wrong.

First, "take action" is another minor factor in getting what you want in life. (less than 50%)

Any and every moron "takes action."

Next...

  • Once you get past fraud (lying to sell a product) like taking words people said and intentionally leaving out the "and the fools that believe..." part of the quote, and then the people who back 'The Secret' quote what Churchill said only fools believe...once you get past that deception...

  • ...and once you get past the philosophy of "a vibration" that attracts like a "magnet" (which um...attracts the OPPOSITE of)...

  • ...and once you get past the philosophy of 'we bring our current life circumstances that we have in our lives upon ourselves everytime'.... (which we can disprove in 20 seconds on any day at any moment at any hour)

  • ...and once you get past the insane philosophy that you need to feel "good" about what you "visualize" (the most ridiculous proposal perhaps and easiest to disprove in perhaps 10 seconds, in every circumstance)

  • ...and once you get past the fact that gratitude causes receipt of things (again, naive or a blatant lie)

  • ...and once you get past the fact that the greater philosophy is a philosophy of guilt (it's not working for you yet? then you're attracting your counter intentions...)

...so essentially there is NO part of 'The Secret' that really has any relevance to attracting anything into your life. Oh, the visualization part. Yes. That rocket scientist piece is correct. Every five-year-old gets this very easy concept.

Teach a five-year-old the other concepts and you teach a child to destroy their lives, become addicts, criminals and become devoid of any chance at succeeding in life.

...once you get past these things, there is something I like about 'The Secret'....

...I liked that it made me laugh when I saw the part how supposedly Mother Teresa knew 'The Secret' but instead of sharing the secret to having food and water, she instead let people starve and die all around her!

So...Is taking action key...?
